Landscape architect and bridal shop to open at Tacoma's Brewery Blocks

Horizon Partners Northwest, the developer for Brewery Blocks Tacoma, is excited to announce two new tenants, Lyon Landscape Architects and For the Luv of Bridal. Both shops will open in the Summer of 2022.

Lyon Landscape Architects is a full-service landscape architecture firm with offices in both Tacoma and Sun Valley, Idaho. Some of their local projects include the Fallen Firefighters Memorial on Ruston Way and the Franklin Pierce Early Learning Center

Playground. One of their most recently completed projects is Napoleon Apartments, where they designed the courtyard and rooftop garden which includes outdoor seating, fire pits, an outdoor kitchen, and garden. Their new offices at Brewery Blocks, located just two doors down from Incline Cider at 2111 South C Street, will allow them to better connect, build and grow long-lasting relationships with the downtown design community.

Along with Lyon Landscape Architects, Brewery Blocks will also be welcoming For the Luv of Bridal in early summer. Tacoma will be the fourth retail location for this bridal boutique and will feature a diverse selection of wedding gowns that include in-house

designs and small indie designers as well. They are known for carrying a diverse collection of exclusive designs that appeal to both the traditional and trendy styles. Located at 2137 Commerce Street next to BlueBonnet Photography, the new 1600 square foot space will allow this retailer to bring their love for everything bridal right to the heart of downtown Tacoma.

Commercial real estate representative, Kyle Prosser, explains why Brewery Blocks is such a popular destination for these businesses, “The location is more of an experience, not just a quick stop. People like having the ability to come down and try on wedding dresses, and then grab a slice of pizza across the street at Camp Colvos or a cider at Incline. The diversity of businesses and restaurants in this few-block radius makes Brewery Blocks a notable hot spot.” To-date, Brewery Blocks has leased all but three of their remaining commercial spaces with vacancies for one restaurant and two retailers.

Horizon Partners Northwest has revitalized more than 11 buildings in Tacoma’s downtown core. Brewery Blocks Tacoma is their current project – an estimated $125 million effort. Horizon Partners was recently awarded, by the City of Tacoma Landmarks Preservation Commission, the 2021 Award for Excellence in Commercial Preservation for the restoration of the Hunt-Mottet Warehouse at Brewery Blocks.
